Your mission is to be the catalyst for developer adoption of the Yellow SDK. We’re not looking for someone to just support a community; we’re looking for a technical leader to build one. You will own the technical journey for developers, from their first line of code to their launch. Your primary objective is to onboard the next wave of 1000 builders, driving tangible growth in our developer ecosystem.
You will achieve this through three core pillars:
- Developer Empowerment: Architecting the educational content (demos, guides, tutorials) that makes building on Yellow intuitive and powerful.
- Builder Activation: Directly engaging with high-potential projects, providing expert technical guidance to ensure their successful integration and launch.
- Ecosystem Advocacy: Championing the needs of our developers internally, translating their feedback into actionable product improvements that shape the future of the Yellow SDK.
Responsibilities:
- Education and Technical Content Creation
- Build sample apps, demos, SDK integrations (e.g., gaming demo, fintech features, cross-chain trading flows) to showcase how Yellow simplifies building real-time, multi-chain dApps.
- Develop and execute a technical content strategy spanning documentation, tutorials, articles, and workshops to drastically reduce the time-to-market for new developers.
- Developer Evangelism & Community Growth
- Act as the lead technical evangelist for Yellow at global hackathons, conferences, and meetups, directly mentoring and recruiting high-quality developer teams.
- Cultivate a vibrant, technically-proficient community in Discord, GitHub, and Telegram by providing expert-level support and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Protocol Adoption & Product Strategy
- Serve as the primary technical consultant for strategic partners and projects, guiding them from architectural design to successful SDK integration.
- Translate developer feedback and market insights into a clear feedback loop for our product and engineering teams, directly influencing the SDK roadmap and feature prioritization.
- Define and track key metrics for developer adoption, such as new projects started, integration velocity, and community engagement, reporting on the health of the ecosystem.
What We Are Looking For:
- Technical Proficiency
- Hands-on experience in Web3 development: JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Hardhat, wagmi, viem, WebSockets, cross-chain protocols, and ideally State Channels.
- Comfortable with writing sample code, demos, and guiding developers through blockchain-specific concepts (cross-chain swaps, smart contracts, off-chain execution, NFT issuance, etc.).
- Experience & Communication
- Proven track record (3+ years) in a Developer Relations, Technical Evangelist, or a similar role, with demonstrable results in growing a developer community or ecosystem.
- You are a natural educator and communicator, with exceptional public speaking and technical writing skills, capable of making complex topics simple and exciting.
- Empathy & Community Orientation
- Deep understanding of developer pain-points in Web3 adoption.
- Ability to translate technical complexity into approachable solutions and compelling messaging.
- Adaptability & Collaboration
- Able to switch easily between coding, content creation, public speaking, and cross-team collaboration with product, engineering, and marketing
