Head of AI/ML Department

As the Head of AI/ML Department with strong AI with Machine Learning Expertise, you will be at the forefront of defining and executing the company’s AI strategy, vision and roadmap. Your extensive knowledge of machine learning algorithms, data modelling, and AI system architecture will enable you to make informed and strategic decisions that enhance our AI capabilities. You will lead a team of developers, driving cutting-edge research, development, and implementation of AI-driven products and services that revolutionize the market.

 

Responsibilities:

• AI Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with the company’s mission and business objectives. Set a clear vision for AI and machine learning initiatives and create a roadmap for their successful execution.
• Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of AI researchers, data scientists, and engineers. Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture that encourages continuous learning and excellence in AI technology.
• Project Innovation: Collaborate closely with project management and other cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration, driving the development of AI-powered features and products that meet customer needs 
• Data Strategy and Architecture: Work with the engineering team to define and maintain scalable AI architecture to support our growing demands.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with the executive leadership team, including the Syndicate Head and Head of Technology, to align AI and ML initiatives with the overall company strategy and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.

 

Requirements:

• 4+ Years of AI and ML Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks, natural language processing, and statistical modelling. Proven experience in successfully implementing machine learning solutions in real-world applications.
• 3+ years of Leadership: Strong leadership and management skills with a track record of leading high-performing teams in AI and ML research and development. Ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve outstanding results.
• 6+ years of experience in IT industry
• Industry Experience: Extensive experience in leading AI and ML initiatives in a commercial setting. Previous experience in a CTO or Lead of AI/ML role is highly desirable.
• Strategic Vision: Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to envision AI-driven business opportunities and translate them into actionable plans.
• Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, driving innovation and staying updated with the rapidly evolving AI and ML landscape.
