Game Developer Department Lead

Syndika is seeking a passionate and experienced Game Developer Department Lead to join our diverse global team. In this role, you’ll lead a team of top-tier game developers to create cutting-edge, Web3-ready games that can be enjoyed across multiple platforms.

 

Our ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience in game development, along with a proven track record of leading development teams within studios that boast high-quality portfolios.

 

Responsibilities:

• Establish and expand our game development department
• Lead and inspire your game development team
• Collaborate closely with our production and other engineering departments
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
• Actively participate in the game development process
• Write clean, elegant, and maintainable code
  

 

Requirements/Desired Skills:

• 5+ years of experience as a game developer or software engineer in game development, working with both technical and non-technical disciplines
• A portfolio showcasing your experience
• Demonstrated technical and organizational leadership abilities
• A strong leader and team player
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in game engines such as Unreal Engine 4 and Unity, as well as languages like C, C++, C#, and Typescript (the more, the better)
• Familiarity with 3D graphics handling, optimization, and AR/VR/MR technologies
• Metaverse/Web3 experience is highly desirable
• Written and spoken English proficiency – at least B2 (C1+ preferred)
